| Greetings from Loveland, Colorado Gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Loveland is also known as the “Sweetheart City” because of the Valentine re-mail program. Valentines come from all over the world to get the special cachet and postal cancellation from February 1st to the 14th. Additional information is available on our links page.
Loveland is home for MJ’s Quilt Shop, family owned and operated since July 1998. MJ Olinger (that’s me) the owner, teacher, quilter and retired registered nurse defines quilting as serenity. A brick n mortar storefront was the way of doing business until a “bag of lemons”, which came in the form of a health issue, hit me and changed my way of life. With the “bag of lemons” as the story goes, I made lemonade by closing the storefront and moved to on-line shopping only , July 2004. With one husband, two Shih Tzu dogs, three children and four grandchildren, life is ever changing. So keep your compass handy, you never know when you need to change course.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change those things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.
